Venice Park
The Venice Park Generating Facility is located at Venice Park Landfill, in Shiawassee County, Michigan (between Lansing and Flint). The landfill is owned and operated by Waste Management of Michigan. The plant is comprised of two buildings which house four Caterpillar 3516s and four Caterpillar 3520s rated for a total of 9.6 MW. Electricity from the plant is sold to both MPPA and Consumers Energy of Michigan.
